1 Samuel 6:19

19 And he killed of the men of Beth-shemesh, because they had looked into the ark of Yahweh, he killed of the people seventy men, fifty thousand men; and the people mourned, because Yahweh had struck the people with a great slaughter.[fn]

Footnotes

19

Some texts omit [and] fifty thousand men. It is also a highly unusual construction in the Hebrew and is not likely to mean 50,070 even if this reading is genuine (see CTAT, K&D, and UBS Handbook). It is possible only 70 were killed (see Josephus). This would leave the meaning of 50,000 not presently known.
