James 1:11

For the sun rises with the scorching wind, and withers the grass; and its flower falls, and the grace of its fashion perishes: so also will the rich man fade away in his ventures.[fn]

ventures, could also mean journeys, paths, or ways, perhaps in the sense of orbits or revolutions. Compare the sun rising in the first part of this verse and the context of verse 17.
