The UPDV omits 'and the life,' supported by Papyrus 45 (partly restored here), Old Syriac S, part of the Old Latin tradition (including Cyprian), some Christian Palestinian Aramaic manuscripts, and indirectly by the shorter citation in Ephrem's Syriac *Commentary on the Diatessaron*.
