A Song of Ascents.
Those who trust in [the Speech of] YahwehAre as mount Zion, which can't be moved, but remains forever.
2
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem,So Yahweh is round about his peopleFrom this time forth and forevermore.
3
For the scepter of wickedness will not rest on the lot of the righteous;That the righteous don't put forth their hands to iniquity.
4
Do good, O Yahweh, to those who are good,And to those who are upright in their hearts.
5
But as for such as turn aside to their crooked ways,Yahweh will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity.Peace be on Israel.
