Psalms, Chapter 1
1
BOOK I. Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked; and in the way of sinners, does not stand, and in the seat of scoffers, does not sit.
2
But rather in the law of Yahweh, does he delight; and in his law does he meditate, day and night.
3
And he is like a tree planted by streams of water: its fruit it yields in season, and its leaf does not wither, and in all that he does, he prospers.
4
Not so are the wicked: but rather they are like chaff, which is blown away by the wind.
5
Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment; nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6
For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked, will perish.
