Embrace purity, or else he will be angry, and you⁺ will perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in [his Speech].[fn]

Embrace purity partly follows LXX interpretation (i.e. 'accept correction' or 'embrace discipline'). MT could be literally, 'Kiss cleanness/purity'. Some interpret this as 'Kiss the son' possibly by textual correction or accepting an Aramaic definition in this Hebrew text.
