Psalms, Chapter 75
1
For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tash-heth. A Psalm of Asaph, a Song. We give thanks to you, O God; We give thanks and call on your name: We tell of your wondrous works.
2
When I will find the set time, I will judge uprightly.
3
The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved: I have set up the pillars of it. Selah.
4
I said to the arrogant, Do not deal arrogantly; And to the wicked, Don't lift up the horn:
5
Don't lift up your+ horn on high; Don't speak with a stiff neck.
6
For neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor yet from the south, [comes] lifting up.
7
But God is the judge: He puts down one, and lifts up another.
8
For in the hand of Yahweh there is a cup, and the wine foams; It is an undiluted mixture, and he pours out of the same: Surely its dregs, all the wicked of the earth will drain them, and drink them.
9
But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
10
All the horns of the wicked also I will cut off; But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.
