Chapter 1

1:15 — HOTTP with uncertainty, and LXX omit verse 16: For their feet run to evil, And they hurry to shed blood.

Chapter 6

6:29 — has sex with her, literally 'touches her'. See footnote at 1 Corinthians 7:1.

Chapter 11

11:13 — double-tongued, follows LXX for consistency with use in Sirach. Previously translated as 'talebearer'.

Chapter 14

14:32 — or, 'in his integrity'

Chapter 19

19:23 — to life, See 1 Samuel 25:6 and footnote there.

Chapter 21

21:4 — HOTTP and LXX omit verse 5: 'The thoughts of the diligent [tend] only to plenteousness; But every one who is in a hurry [hurries] only to want.'

Chapter 22

22:5 — HOTTP and LXX omit verse 6: 'Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.'

Chapter 25

25:20 — as smoke for the eyes is to be placed here per HOTTP with a low certainty rating of D on a scale of A-D.

25:20 — HOTTP and LXX omit the following at the first part of this verse: '[As] one who takes off a garment in cold weather'
