10:1 And he called to him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness.{Ru} ->[10:1]

And Jesus called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

10:2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother;{Rc} ->[6:2-4]

10:3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the [son] of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;{Rc} ->[6:2-4]

10:4 Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered him up.{Rc} ->[6:2-4]

And when it was day, he called his disciples; and he chose from them twelve:

10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and charged them, saying, Don't go into [any] way of the Gentiles, and don't enter into any city of the Samaritans: — {Ru} ->[10:1]

And Jesus called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

10:6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.{Ou}

10:7 And as you+ go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. — {Ru} ->[10:2]

And he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely you+ received, freely give. — {Ru} ->[10:2]

And he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

10:9 Get+ no gold, nor silver, nor bronze in your+ belts; — {Ruc} ->[14:4]

Carry neither wallet, nor bag, nor sandals:

10:10 no bag for [your+] journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff: for the worker is worthy of his food. — {Ru} ->[14:5]

for the worker is worthy of his food.

10:11 And into whatever city or village you+ will enter, search out who in it is worthy; and stay there until you+ go forth. — ->14:6

10:12 And as you+ enter into the house, greet it. — ->14:7

10:13 And if the house is worthy, let your+ peace come upon it: but if it is not worthy, let your+ peace return to you+. — ->14:8

10:14 And whoever will not receive you+, nor hear your+ words, as you+ go forth out of that house or that city, shake off the dust of your+ feet. — ->14:10

10:15 Truly I say to you+, It will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city. — ->14:11

10:16 Look, I send you+ forth as sheep among wolves: be+ therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. — {Rc} ->[14:3]

Go your+ ways; Look, I send you+ forth as sheep among wolves:

10:17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you+ up to Sanhedrins, and in their synagogues they will scourge you+; — ->24:9

10:18 yes and before governors and kings you+ will be brought for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. — ->24:10

10:19 But when they deliver you+ up, don't be anxious how or what you+ will speak: for it will be given you+ in that hour what you+ will speak. — ->24:11

10:20 For it is not you+ who speak, but the Spirit of your+ Father who speaks in you+. — ->24:12

10:21 And brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child: and children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. — ->24:13

10:22 And you+ will be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he who endures to the end, the same will be saved. — ->24:14

10:23 But when they persecute you+ in this city, flee into the next: for truly I say to you+, You+ will not have gone through the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man comes.{Ou}

10:24 A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his lord.{Oc}

10:25 It is enough for the disciple that he is as his teacher, and the slave as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!{Oc}

10:26 Don't fear them therefore: for there is nothing covered, that will not be revealed; and hid, that will not be known. — {Ru} ->[15:38]

Don't fear them: for there is nothing covered, that will not be revealed; and hid, that will not be known.

10:27 What I tell you+ in the darkness, speak+ in the light; and what you+ hear in the ear, proclaim on the housetops. — ->15:39

10:28 And don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. — ->15:42

10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion? and not one of them will fall on the ground without your+ Father: — ->15:43

10:30 but the very hairs of your+ head are all numbered. — ->15:44

10:31 Don't be afraid therefore: you+ are of more value than many sparrows. — ->15:45

10:32 Everyone therefore who will confess me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven. — ->15:46

10:33 But whoever will deny me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven. — ->15:47

10:34 Don't think that I came to send peace on the earth: I didn't come to send peace, but a sword. — ->15:48

10:35 For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law: — ->15:49

10:36 and a man's foes [will be] those of his own household. — ->15:50

10:37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.{Ru} ->[18:2]

He who loves father or mother more than me can't be my disciple; and he who loves son or daughter more than me can't be my disciple.

10:38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me. — ->18:3

10:39 He who finds his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.{Oc}

10:40 He who receives you+ receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me. — ->14:9

10:41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet's reward: and he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man's reward.{Ou}

10:42 And whoever will give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, truly I say to you+ he will in no way lose his reward.{Ou}
