19:1 And it came to pass when Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan; — {Ru} ->[20:20]
19:2 and great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there. — {Ru} ->[20:20]
19:3 And Pharisees came to him, trying him, and saying, Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for every cause? — {Ru} ->[20:21]
And Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to divorce [his] wife? trying him.
19:4 And he answered and said, Have you+ not read that from the beginning the Creator made them male and female, — {Ru} ->[20:25]

19:5 and said, For this cause will a man leave his father and mother, and will stick to his wife; and the two will become one flesh? — {Ru} ->[20:26-27]

19:8 He says to them, Moses for your+ hardness of heart allowed you+ to divorce your+ wives: but from the beginning it has not been so. — {Ru} ->[20:24-25]
But Jesus said to them, For your+ hardness of heart he wrote you+ this commandment. But from the beginning of the creation, Male and female he made them.
19:9 And I say to you+, Whoever divorces his wife, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery. — {Ru} ->[20:30]
And he says to them, Everyone who divorces his wife, and marries another, commits adultery.
19:10 His disciples say to him, If the case of the man is so with his wife, it is not expedient to marry. — {Ou}
19:11 But he said to them, Not all men can receive this saying, but they to whom it is given. — {Ou}
19:12 For there are eunuchs, who were so born from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, who were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, who made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it. — {Ou}
19:13 Then there were brought to him little children, that he should lay his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them. — {Ru} ->[20:31]

19:14 But Jesus said, Allow the little children, and don't forbid them, to come to me: for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven. — {Ru} ->[20:32]

19:15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed from there. — {Ou}
19:16 And look, one came to him and said, Teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? — {Ru} ->[20:34]
And as he was going forth into the way, one ran to him, and knelt to him, and asked him, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
19:17 And he said to him, Why do you ask me concerning that which is good? There is [only] one who is good: but if you would enter into life, keep the commandments. — {Ru} ->[20:35]
And Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? None is good but one, God.
19:18 He says to him, Which? And Jesus said, You will not kill, You will not commit adultery, You will not steal, You will not bear false witness, — {Ru} ->[20:36]
You know the commandments, Do not kill, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.
19:19 Honor your father and your mother; and, You will love your fellow man as yourself. — {Ru} ->[20:36]

19:20 The young man says to him, All these things I have observed: what do I still lack? — {Ru} ->[20:37]

19:21 Jesus said to him, If you want to be perfect, go, sell that which you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. — {Ru} ->[20:38]
And Jesus looking on him loved him, and said to him, One thing you lack: go, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
19:22 But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sorrowful; for he was one who had great possessions. — {Ru} ->[20:39]
But his countenance fell at the saying, and he went away sorrowful: for he was one who had great possessions.
19:23 And Jesus said to his disciples, Truly I say to you+, It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. — {Ru} ->[20:40]
And Jesus looked around, and says to his disciples, How hardly will those who have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
19:24 And again I say to you+, It is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. — {Ru} ->[20:41-42]
And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answers again, and says to them, Children, how hard it is to enter into the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
19:25 And when the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, Who then can be saved? — {Ru} ->[20:43]
And they were exceedingly astonished, saying to themselves, Then who can be saved?
19:26 And Jesus looking on [them] said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. — {Ru} ->[20:44]
Jesus looking on them says, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.
19:27 Then Peter answered and said to him, Look, we have left all, and followed you; what then shall we have? — {Ru} ->[20:45]
Peter began to say to him, Look, we have left all, and have followed you.
19:28 And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you+, that you+ who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you+ also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. — {Ru} ->[25:38]
that you+ may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and you+ will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
19:29 And everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold, and will inherit eternal life. — {Ru} ->[20:46-47]
Jesus said, Truly I say to you+, There is no man who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for the sake of me, and for the sake of the good news, but he [who] will receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life. But many [who are] first will be last; and the last first.
