28:1 Now late on the Sabbath day, as it began to dawn toward the first [day] of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. — ->28:1

28:2 And look, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of Yahweh descended from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and sat on it.{Rut} ->[28:2]

28:3 His appearance was as lightning, and his raiment white as snow: — {Rn} ->[28:2]

28:4 and for fear of him the watchers quaked, and became as dead men.{Ou}

28:5 And the angel answered and said to the women, Don't be+ afraid; for I know that you+ seek Jesus, who has been crucified.{Ru} ->[28:3]

28:8 And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.{Ru} ->[28:5]

28:9 And look, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.{Ous}

28:10 Then Jesus says to them, Don't be afraid: go tell my brothers that they depart into Galilee, and there they will see me.{Ous}

28:11 Now while they were going, look, some of the guard came into the city, and told to the chief priests all the things that had come to pass.{Ous}

28:12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave much money to the soldiers,{Ous}

28:13 saying, Say+, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.{Ous}

28:14 And if this comes to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and rid you+ of care.{Ous}

28:15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying was spread abroad among the Jews to the present day.{Ous}

28:16 But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had appointed them.{Ous}

28:17 And when they saw him, they worshiped [him]; but some doubted.{Ous}

28:18 And Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on the earth.{Ous}

28:19 Go+ therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit:{Ous}

28:20 teaching them to observe all things whatever I commanded you+: and look, I am with you+ always, even to the very end of the age.{Ous}
