4:1 — Verses 1-13 are not included. The reconstructed baseline gospel text (*Ev) lacks the temptation in any form; John's opening day-chain also leaves no forty-day interval. See Variant Exceptions.

4:15 — There is internal and external evidence that the events in Chapter 4 may not be in the correct chronological sequence. However, to avoid renumbering the text, they have been left as is.

22:14 — Verse 15, which identifies the Last Supper as a Passover meal ("With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer"), has been excluded. The remaining text aligns with the non-Passover chronology of John and Paul. See Variant Exceptions.
22:16 — Verses 16-18 are not included. Verse 16 is directly attested absent in the reconstructed baseline gospel text (Ev); verses 17-18 are treated with it as part of a composite seam under the Ev policy. 22:44 — Verses 43–44 are included in the UPDV. See The Angel in Gethsemane.
22:62 — The Sanhedrin mockery and daybreak trial (22:63-71) have been removed as Lukan rearrangement of Markan material. The remaining text reflects the simpler pattern found in John, where only an informal questioning occurs (18:13-24). See Gospel Source-Criticism.

23:16 — CT is certain (Level A) that verse 17 is not part of the original text: Now he must needs release to them at the feast one prisoner.
23:34 — CT is certain (Level A) that the first part of verse 34 is not part of the original text: And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they don't know what they do.
23:38 — Luke 23:39 through 24:53 has been reconstructed verse by verse using forensic stylometry, commentary evidence, and the Markan parallel. See The Gospel of Luke for the full methodology and verse-by-verse decisions.
23:46 — The preceding verse (23:44, the three-hour darkness) has been removed. See Gospel Source-Criticism. Literally: "And it was now about the sixth hour, and a darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour." The tearing of the temple veil (a clause within this verse) has also been removed. See Gospel Source-Criticism. Literally: "And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom."
