3:19 — Verses 19-20 are not included. This is a source-composition reconstruction, not a claim that the unit is directly omitted in surviving Greek or versional witnesses. See Variant Exceptions.
3:23 — CT reads, "when he began ... being the son, as was supposed, of Joseph"; UPDV omits "when he began" with the Peshitta, Old Syriac S, and the Ebionite Gospel fragment. UPDV conjecturally omits "as was supposed" as a later qualification associated with Luke 1-2, although every complete Greek and versional witness checked retains it; see The Gospel of Luke.

4:1 — Verses 1-13 are not included. The reconstructed baseline gospel text (*Ev) lacks the temptation in any form; John's opening day-chain also leaves no forty-day interval. See Variant Exceptions.
4:14 — At this place in the text the CT also includes the following: 'in the power of the Spirit'. See Variant Exceptions regarding Luke 11:13 for more information.
4:15 — There is internal and external evidence that the events in Chapter 4 may not be in the correct chronological sequence. However, to avoid renumbering the text, they have been left as is.
4:17 — Most likely the copies of Old Testament books were in the form of scrolls.

5:7 — sharers, in this context it means those who shared with them as their partners. The same Greek word for 'sharers' is used as 'sharers' or 'peers' in Hebrews 1:9, 3:1, 3:14, 6:4, and 12:8.

10:35 — A denarius was a Roman coin worth about one day's wages.
10:41 — CT reads, 'Martha, Martha, you are anxious and upset about many things, but one thing is needful.' The UPDV omits both clauses, supported by Old Syriac S and part of the Old Latin tradition (it-a, b, e, ff², i, l, r¹); Codex Bezae retains only 'you are troubled.' The verse reads 'Jesus answered and said' with Old Syriac S, D, and much of the Greek and Old Latin tradition (CT: 'the Lord'). See Variant Exceptions.

22:7 — Verses 7-13 are not included. Under the reconstructed baseline gospel text (Ev) policy, the unit is treated as a critically inferred structural absence after discounting Epiphanius Scholion 61's late, loose notice at verse 8 and weighing qualified silence with source-critical convergence. The corresponding Markan preparation scene is also excluded at Mark 14:12-16 under a separate source-history decision. See Variant Exceptions and The Reconstructed Baseline Gospel Text (Ev).
22:14 — Verse 15, which identifies the Last Supper as a Passover meal ("With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer"), has been excluded. The remaining text aligns with the non-Passover chronology of John and Paul. See Variant Exceptions.
22:16 — Verses 16-18 are not included. Epiphanius directly attests verse 16 as absent from Marcion's Gospel (Pan. 42.11, Scholion/Elenchus 63), and Roth and Klinghardt accordingly mark it not present in their reconstructions; verses 17-18 are treated with it as part of a composite seam under the Ev policy. The remaining bread-cup sequence aligns with Mark 14:22-24 and 1 Corinthians 11:23-25. See Variant Exceptions and The Reconstructed Baseline Gospel Text (Ev).
22:44 — Verses 43–44 are included in the UPDV. See The Angel in Gethsemane.
22:62 — The Sanhedrin mockery and daybreak trial (22:63-71) have been removed as Lukan rearrangement of Markan material. The remaining text reflects the simpler pattern found in John, where only an informal questioning occurs (18:13-24). See Gospel Source-Criticism.

23:16 — CT is almost certain (Level B) that verse 17 is not part of the original text: Now he must needs release to them at the feast one prisoner.
23:34 — CT is almost certain (Level B) that the first part of verse 34 is not part of the original text: And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they don't know what they do.
23:38 — Luke 23:39 through 24:53 has been reconstructed verse by verse using forensic stylometry, commentary evidence, and the Markan parallel. See The Gospel of Luke for the full methodology and verse-by-verse decisions.
23:46 — The preceding verse (23:44, the three-hour darkness) has been removed. See Gospel Source-Criticism. Literally: "And it was now about the sixth hour, and a darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour." The tearing of the temple veil (a clause within this verse) has also been removed. See Gospel Source-Criticism. Literally: "And the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom."
