Luke, Chapter 24
1
And when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb.
2
And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.
3
And they entered in, and did not find the body of Jesus.
4
And they saw a young man sitting on the right side, arrayed in a white robe; and they were amazed.
5
And he says to them, Don't be amazed: you⁺ seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified:
8
And they went out, and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them.
