A Psalm of David.
Yahweh says [by his Speech] to my Lord,Sit at my right hand,until I make your enemiesa stool for your feet.

The rod of your strengthYahweh will send forth out of Zion:Rule in the midst of your enemies.
3
With you is princely dignityin the day of your power,on the holy mountains;Like dew from the womb of the dawn,I have begotten you.
4
Yahweh has sworn,and will not repent:You are a priest foreverafter the order of Melchizedek.
5
The Lord at your right hand will strike throughkings in the day of his wrath.
6
He will judge among the nations,He will fill [the places] with dead bodies;He will strike through the headin many countries.
7
He will drink of the brook in the way:Therefore he will lift up the head.
