Worthy are you to take the book,and to open its seals:for you were slain, and purchased to God with your bloodout of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,[fn]

purchased to God. CT reads: *purchased us to God* (Level C). The Semitic partitive construction (cf. Ex 15:16, Ps 74:2) identifies the purchased without a separate pronoun.
