Abida

Abida is a son of Midian and grandson of Abraham through Keturah, listed among the ancestral heads of the Midianite clans.

Son of Midian

The genealogy of Abraham's sons by Keturah includes Midian, whose own sons are enumerated twice in parallel lists: "And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah" (Gen 25:4; 1 Chr 1:33). Abida appears fourth among the five sons of Midian, placing him within the broader Abrahamic lineage that extended east and south of Canaan.
