Abidah

Abidah (rendered Abida in the UPDV) is a son of Midian and a descendant of Abraham through his wife Keturah.

Descendant of Abraham

The genealogy of Abraham's sons by Keturah traces Midian's line through five sons: "And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah" (Gen 25:4). Abidah belongs to this eastern branch of the Abrahamic family, the Midianite clans that settled outside the land of promise.
