Abimael

Abimael appears only as a name in the genealogies — one of the sons of Joktan in the Table of Nations, repeated in the Chronicles parallel.

In the line of Joktan

The Genesis list reads, "and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba," (Ge 10:28). The Chronicles parallel preserves the same name with a small spelling variant for the brother: "and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba," (1Ch 1:22). Both stand in the descent from Shem through Eber and Joktan.
