Admatha

Admatha was one of the seven princes of Persia and Media who held the highest rank in the court of King Ahasuerus. These princes were distinguished by two privileges: they saw the king's face and sat first in the kingdom (Esth 1:14). It was to this council that the king turned when deciding how to respond to Queen Vashti's refusal.
