Adna
Two men in the post-exilic period bear the name Adna. One belongs to the laity in Ezra's reform; the other heads a priestly house in Nehemiah's register.
A Son of Pahath-Moab
Adna stands at the head of the Pahath-Moab roster among those who had married foreign women and were called to put them away: "And of the sons of Pahath-moab: Adna, and Chelal, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Bezalel, and Binnui, and Manasseh" (Ezr 10:30). His name appears only in this list of those caught up in the reform.
A Priest of Harim
A second Adna heads the house of Harim in the priestly register from the days of Joiakim: "of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai" (Neh 12:15). He is named once, as the representative of his fathers' house in the sequence of priestly leaders.
