Adoram

Adoram held the office responsible for supervising the men subject to slave labor in David's kingdom. He appears in the list of royal officials: "Adoram was over the men subject to slave labor; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was the recorder" (2Sam 20:24). The name is also associated with the official Adoniram, who held a similar post under Solomon and Rehoboam.
