Ahban

Ahban was a son of Abishur and Abihail, belonging to the tribe of Judah. His birth is recorded in the genealogies of 1 Chronicles: "And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail; and she bore him Ahban, and Molid" (1Chr 2:29).

In the Judahite Genealogy

The genealogical notice in 1Chr 2:29 places Ahban in the line of Judah through Jerahmeel and his son Abishur. He and his brother Molid are the recorded sons of Abihail, Abishur's wife.
