Ahimoth

Ahimoth was a Levite, recorded among the sons of Elkanah in the genealogies of Levi: "And the sons of Elkanah: Amasai, and Ahimoth, Elkanah" (1Chr 6:25).

In the Levitical Genealogy

The notice in 1Chr 6:25 places Ahimoth in the Kohathite line of Levi, as a son of Elkanah. He is listed together with his brothers Amasai and Elkanah (a son who shared his father's name) within the extended genealogical record of the Levites.
