Alameth

Alameth (spelled "Alemeth" in the UPDV) is a son of Becher in the genealogical records of Benjamin.

Genealogy

Alemeth appears in 1Chr 7:8 in the list of Becher's sons: "The sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jeremoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher." Becher was a son of Benjamin, placing Alemeth among the Benjaminite clans.
