Alammelech

Alammelech (spelled "Allammelech" in the UPDV) is a town within the tribal allotment of Asher.

Location

Allammelech is listed in Josh 19:26 among the towns marking the boundary of Asher's territory: "Allammelech, and Amad, and Mishal; and it reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihor-libnath." It appears alongside Amad and Mishal in a section describing the southwestern extent of Asher's allotment, near Mount Carmel.
