Asnah
Asnah is named among the families of the temple servants who returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile. The list in Ezra 2 catalogs those who came back under Zerubbabel: "the sons of Asnah, the sons of Meunim, the sons of Nephisim" (Ezr 2:50).
A Family Among the Returning Temple Servants
The temple servants — the Nethinim — are listed by family groups in Ezr 2. The sons of Asnah appear alongside the sons of Meunim and Nephisim, groups that returned to resume the service of the temple in Jerusalem. Asnah himself is the eponymous ancestor of this family; no personal narrative or additional genealogical detail is provided.
