Asyncritus
Asyncritus was a disciple at Rome greeted by Paul at the close of his letter to the Romans. His name appears in a cluster of greetings directed to a group of believers who gathered together.
Disciple at Rome
Paul's closing salutation in Rom 16:14 names Asyncritus alongside several others: "Greet Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brothers who are with them." The collective greeting — Asyncritus and his companions together with "the brothers who are with them" — suggests a household gathering or house-church network within the Roman community.
