Bealiah

Bealiah is named once, in the roll of warriors who came over to David at Ziklag during his exile from Saul.

A Warrior at Ziklag

In the catalogue of the men who joined David while he was still keeping clear of Saul, the list includes "Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite" (1Ch 12:5). Bealiah belongs to that company of fighting men who attached themselves to David at Ziklag and helped form the nucleus of his later army.
