Beasts

Beasts in scripture name the living creatures of the earth — wild and domestic — created on the sixth day, preserved through the flood, used for food and sacrifice, and gathered under God's care, judgment, and instruction. The same term carries forward into apocalyptic vision, where symbolic beasts represent kingdoms and powers arrayed against the people of God.
