Beerah
Beerah appears once in scripture as a chieftain of the tribe of Reuben taken into exile by the Assyrian king.
A Reubenite Prince
In the Reubenite genealogy, Beerah is named son of Baal and listed as the one "whom Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites" (1Ch 5:6). The notice fixes him at the deportation that ended Reubenite settlement east of the Jordan, and identifies him as the tribe's leader at that moment.
