Behemoth
Behemoth is the great grass-eating creature Yahweh points out in his speech from the whirlwind, named in a single verse and held up as a witness to the Maker's craft.
A Creature of God's Making
In the second of Yahweh's speeches, the camera turns from the elements and predators to a heavy, vegetarian beast: "Now look at behemoth, which I made as well as you; He eats grass as an ox" (Job 40:15). The verse pairs the creature with Job himself — both are made — and grounds the rest of Yahweh's argument in shared creaturehood rather than rivalry.
