Ben-Hail
Ben-hail is named once, as one of the princes Jehoshaphat sent out in the third year of his reign to teach in the cities of Judah.
A Prince of Judah
In Jehoshaphat's reform, the king dispatched a teaching delegation through the towns of Judah. Ben-hail appears at the head of the named princes: "Also in the third year of his reign he sent his princes, even Ben-hail, and Obadiah, and Zechariah, and Nethanel, and Micaiah, to teach in the cities of Judah" (2Ch 17:7). Nothing further is recorded of him; he is identified only by this commission.
