Bene-berak is one of the towns inside the tribal allotment of Dan.

The town appears in the catalogue of Dan's inheritance, named between Azor and Gath-rimmon: "and Jehud, and Azor, and Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon," (Jos 19:45). The list places it among Dan's coastal-plain holdings; nothing further is recorded of the city in scripture.
