Berothai

Berothai is a city of Zobah from which David carried away tribute of bronze after his northern campaign.

In the record of David's wars, Berothai appears alongside Betah as a stronghold of Hadadezer plundered for its metal: "And from Betah and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, King David took exceedingly much bronze" (2 Sam 8:8).
