Beth-anoth

Beth-anoth is a town of the hill country listed in the inheritance of Judah.

Among the cities apportioned to Judah, Beth-anoth stands beside Maarath and Eltekon in the closing tally of one of the highland districts: "and Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages. Tekoa and Ephrathah (that is, Bethlehem) and Peor and Etam and Culon and Tatam and Shoresh and Cerem and Gallim and Bether and Manocho, eleven cities with their villages" (Josh 15:59).
