Betonim

Betonim is a town in the territory allotted to the tribe of Gad east of the Jordan.

In the Inheritance of Gad

Betonim falls within the boundary description that fixes Gad's portion in the Transjordan, paired with Ramath-mizpeh and Mahanaim: "and from Heshbon to Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the border of Lidebor;" (Josh 13:26).
