Birzavith — spelled Birzaith in UPDV — appears in the Asher genealogy as a descendant of Malchiel through Beriah. The umbrella term and the UPDV form differ by one consonant for the same figure at the same verse.

The single notice runs through the Beriah branch: "And the sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith" (1 Chr 7:31).
