Bozez
Bozez is one of two rocky crags that flanked the pass between Geba and Michmash, named in connection with Jonathan's raid on the Philistine garrison.
A Rocky Crag Between the Passes
The narrative pinpoints the terrain Jonathan and his armor-bearer had to cross: "And between the passes, by which Jonathan sought to go over to the Philistines' garrison, there was a rocky crag on the one side, and a rocky crag on the other side: and the name of the one was Bozez, and the name of the other Seneh" (1 Sam 14:4). Bozez is the name of one crag, Seneh the other. The detail is geographical — two named outcrops marking the narrow approach Jonathan picked for his climb against the garrison.
