Camon
Camon — UPDV spells it Kamon — is the burial place of the judge Jair the Gileadite, mentioned once in scripture.
Burial of Jair the Gileadite
The judges narrative introduces Jair: "And after him arose Jair, the Gileadite; and he judged Israel twenty and two years" (Jud 10:3). At the close of his tenure UPDV records, "And Jair died, and was buried in Kamon" (Jud 10:5). The town serves only as the setting for his burial.
