Chloe
Chloe appears once in the New Testament, named as the connection through whom news of factional strife in the Corinthian church reached Paul.
A Christian of Corinth
Paul opens his rebuke of Corinthian contentions by naming his source: "For it has been signified to me concerning you⁺, my brothers, by those [who are of the household] of Chloe, that there are contentions among you⁺" (1Cor 1:11). Chloe herself is not addressed; the report comes from her household, which was evidently known to both Paul and the Corinthian assembly.
