Chrysoprasus
Chrysoprasus — spelled chrysoprase in the UPDV — is one of the twelve precious stones set in the foundations of the New Jerusalem.
A Precious Stone of the New Jerusalem
The tenth foundation stone of the city's wall is listed in John's vision: "the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst" (Rev 21:20). It takes its place between topaz and jacinth in an ordered series of twelve.
