Clement

Clement appears once, named among Paul's coworkers at Philippi, in the appeal that Euodia and Syntyche be reconciled.

Paul calls on a "true yokefellow" to help two women who had labored with him in the gospel, naming Clement and others as fellow workers: "Yes, I urge you also, true yokefellow, help these women, for they struggled with me in the good news, with Clement also, and the rest of my coworkers, whose names are in the Book of Life" (Phil 4:3). Clement is grouped with the unnamed coworkers "whose names are in the Book of Life" — the verse records nothing further about him beyond this membership in the Philippian circle.
