Conscientiousness

Conscientiousness is the careful, conscience-bound uprightness scripture commends in those who handle other people's property, exercise authority, or face pressure to compromise. The term overlaps with integrity, honesty, and justice, and surfaces in the many narratives of biblical figures who refused private gain at the cost of their character.
