Convention
A single proverb gathers the umbrella, treating the convening of counselors as the precondition for any plan to succeed.
A Multitude of Counselors
The proverb pairs failure with isolation and success with consultation: "Where there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed; But in the multitude of counselors they are established" (Pr 15:22). The two halves are deliberately mirror-imaged — the absence of counsel and the presence of many counselors are offered as the determining variable in whether a purpose stands or collapses.
