Criticism, Unjust
Unjust criticism names the habit of judging another harshly without ground or charity — finding fault, imputing motive, and pronouncing condemnation where the evidence does not warrant it. Scripture treats this disposition as a serious failure of love, instanced repeatedly in misjudgments of Moses, David, Job, Hannah, Paul, and Jesus himself.
