Dalphon
Dalphon is named once, second in a list of ten. He appears only as a name in the roll of Haman's sons killed in Shushan on the day the Jews defended themselves.
Second in the Catalog
The catalog opens with the count of the slain in Shushan and then names the principal dead. Dalphon stands in the second slot: "And Parshandatha, and Dalphon, and Aspatha" (Es 9:7). The closing of the list states the relation explicitly: "the ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Jews' enemy, they slew; but on the spoil they didn't lay their hand" (Es 9:10). Dalphon's whole presence in scripture is this line of the catalog — a name held in the record of Haman's house at the moment that house ends.
