Dodanim
Dodanim is the entry term under which the table of nations places a fourth son of Javan, alongside Elishah, Tarshish, and Kittim. In the UPDV the name is rendered Rodanim in both occurrences, so the umbrella functions as a cross-reference to that form.
A Son of Javan in the Table of Nations
The genealogy of Noah's descendants names the sons of Javan as "Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim" (Gen 10:4). The Chronicler's parallel restates the same line: "And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim" (1Ch 1:7). Both passages anchor the name among the maritime peoples descended from Japheth through Javan.
The Variant Form
The doublet at Gen 10:4 and 1Ch 1:7 is the only attestation of this name in the UPDV, and in both verses the form is the same. The umbrella term Dodanim therefore points the reader to the Rodanim line that the Genesis and Chronicles tables actually carry.
