A drink offering is the ritual pouring out of wine (or strong drink) alongside the burnt and grain offerings of Israel's sacrificial system. It accompanies daily, festal, and votive sacrifices as a libation poured at the altar, and Paul takes the figure up in his epistles to describe his own life poured out for the gospel.
