Eglah
Eglah is a wife of David named in the lists of the sons born to him in Hebron. She is identified by her son Ithream, the sixth-born of the Hebron group.
Wife of David, Mother of Ithream
The Samuel roster places her at the end of the Hebron-born sons: "and the sixth, Ithream, of Eglah, David's wife. These were born to David in Hebron" (2Sa 3:5). The Chronicler repeats the connection in his own list of David's sons: "the fifth, Shephatiah of Abital; the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife" (1Ch 3:3). Both lines use the same identifier — Eglah is David's wife, and her son is Ithream.
