Elika
Elika appears once in scripture, listed among David's elite warriors known as the Thirty.
One of David's Mighty Men
Toward the end of 2 Samuel, the roll of David's chief soldiers names them by tribe and clan. Asahel and Elhanan stand at the head of the list, and the count moves on through the Harodites: "Asahel the brother of Joab was one of the thirty; Elhanan the son of Dodo of Beth-lehem, Shammah the Harodite, Elika the Harodite, Helez the Paltite, Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite" (2Sa 23:24-26).
Elika is identified only by his hometown — Harod — and by his place in the company. No exploit of his is recorded; the text preserves his name as one of the thirty without further detail.
